Berezi City Community in the Odessa region received the Environmental Safety Strategy project until 2030

Bereziivka City Council in Odesa Oblast became the third this year, after Taiirovska (Odesa) and Vashkivtsi (Chernivtsi), to receive a project for the Strategy of Environmental Safety and Adaptation to Climate Change until 2030, supported by SOMBRILLA and the RcErBs Fund in Lubny.

We are grateful to our constant partners, the Department of Ecology at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, who actively assist communities in preparing green recovery measures. We believe that through joint efforts, we can achieve significant results in the recovery and development of our regions.

In the future, we plan to involve other communities interested in implementing environmental initiatives. It is crucial not only to ensure the active participation of local authorities in the development and implementation of strategies but also to inform the public about the importance of environmental safety and involve local residents in projects. In these challenging times, it is necessary to demonstrate to active communities the tools for financing. Attracting investments to implement the measures outlined in the strategies. Funding opportunities for such measures exist, and communities should understand that there is no need to wait for the end of the war, but to act now.
