Project Navigator is moving into the next stage of preparing Ukrainian communities for ReBuild Ukraine, the international exhibition and conference taking place in Warsaw on 12–13 November. Following the first stage of selection, 12 territorial communities from different regions of Ukraine have been chosen for demonstrating strong engagement with the platform and the preparation of their own project proposals.

On 13 October, during a joint webinar hosted by CEE Bankwatch Network, Ecoaction, and the Regional Centre for Economic Research and Business Support Foundation, we announced the preparation of communities for participation in ReBuild Ukraine. The goal was not simply to identify promising ideas, but to help communities turn them into clear, well-substantiated proposals for potential international partners.

The first tangible result is now here: 12 communities have been selected for further preparation.

Priority was given to communities that went beyond registering on Project Navigator. They actively worked with their data, identified priorities, prepared project proposals, and engaged with experts. This readiness to work systematically was an important factor in the selection process.

The Next Step: Presenting Each Community and Its Projects Effectively

The Project Navigator team, together with its partners, is now beginning individual preparations with the selected communities ahead of their trip to Warsaw.

For each community, a presentation package is planned. It will include up to three priority project proposals, concise materials in English, a clear description of expected outcomes, and specific requests to potential donors and partners.

We will pay particular attention to the visual presentation of each community. Where a community already has its own brand guidelines, we will use them. For communities that have not yet developed a visual identity, we will help prepare basic branding elements and presentation materials that will enable them to represent themselves professionally at an international event.

It is not enough simply to bring a list of projects to Warsaw. Potential partners should be able to understand within a few minutes what matters to the community, what problem it aims to solve, what it has already achieved, and what kind of support it needs.

From Exhibition Participation to New Partnerships

ReBuild Ukraine will give the selected communities an opportunity to present their initiatives to international financial institutions, donor organisations, technology companies, and potential partners.

We do not view the trip as a guarantee of funding. Our goal is to help communities arrive well prepared, have substantive discussions, and lay the groundwork for future cooperation.

For Project Navigator, this is also an important milestone: moving from organising communities’ needs and project ideas to presenting them on the international stage.

What began as communities working within a digital platform is gradually becoming practical action. The next stop is Warsaw.
